The City of Chelan is seeking volunteers for its Park and Downtown Ambassador Program. This mayoral initiative was conceived as a way to allow community members to take an active role in preserving Chelan’s Parks, provide useful tourist information, and serve as a welcoming friendly face for visitors.

What is a Park Ambassador?
Ambassadors serve at Don Morse Park, or Lakeside Park. They serve in a non-enforcement capacity to educate visitors on proper park etiquette, rules and regulations, advise of violations, and address public safety concerns.
What is a Downtown Ambassador?
Downtown ambassadors provide information to tourists and remind would-be-bridge-jumpers that such behavior is frowned upon, dangerous, and illegal.
