Councilmember McCardle and her family moved to Chelan in 2005 after a 13-year career at Microsoft. Erin and her husband chose Chelan for several reasons - the natural beauty of the area with its many outdoor activities; the small community; and the strong integrity of Chelan's citizens. McCardle joined the council in 2010 after becoming involved in several community projects such as the Valley Vision effort and the Community Aquatics Center. Throughout her tenure on Council, Erin's priorities include focused strategic spending of taxpayer dollars that align with our community's desires; ensuring our youth have a variety of safe options for recreation and athletics; and creating an environment where local businesses and local families can thrive. Councilmember McCardle has also served as the Executive Director of the Historic Downtown Chelan Association since January 2018.
Term: January 28, 2010 through December 31, 2025
