The Lake Chelan Sewer District (LCSD) and the Bear Mountain Water District (BMWD) are separate utility purveyors, each providing services to lakefront and upland properties along the south shore of the lower end of Lake Chelan. LCSD formed in 1956. BMWD as it presently exists came together in 2008 from joining of Lakeview Utilities and Hawks Meadows water systems. Lakeview Utilities had previously extended service to developments at Grandview Village, Clos Chevalle, Karma Kanyon, and water systems at Minneapolis Beach and the Lafferty system.
The Lake Chelan Sewer District (LCSD) meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 5:00 p.m. at City of Chelan Public Works, located at 50 Chelan Fall Hwy. (aka SR 150).
The Bear Mountain Water District (BMWD) meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 1:00 p.m. at the Chelan District 7 Fire Department, located at 232 E. Wapato Avenue.
The meetings are open to the public.
