The Building Department has gone to an Electronic Plan Review system. That means that ALL plans that require review must now be submitted in an electric format.
Building inspection requests require 24 hour advance notice.
Single Family Residential Permit Applications: If you are looking to build a new home, remodel your existing home, replace a water heater, replace or modify a deck more than 30 inches above the grade, or add a garage or carport, you will also need to apply for a building permit. If you are not sure if a building permit is required, please call our building department or refer to our ‘tip sheet’.
Commercial Permit Applications: New commercial buildings include three or more residential units or a single residential unit in a mixed use building. New additions, improvements, or change of use to an existing building require a building permit.
