Tim was raised in New England and earned a degree in Forestry from the University of New Hampshire in 1985. He has worked as a Land Surveyor ever since and is licensed in New Hampshire and Washington State. He and his wife Tracy moved to Chelan in 1991 where they made their home and raised their two children, Hank and Nora. The family has lived in the same West Chelan neighborhood ever since. They enjoy being close to downtown, the great schools, and Lake Chelan. After twelve years working for Erlandsen Associates of Brewster, Tim opened his own business, Pinnacle Surveying in 2003. He maintains a small staff and operates primarily in the Chelan Valley with a variety of large and small landowners, architects, builders, and various agencies. Tim is involved in many community activities which include being Past President of the Nordic Ski Club, volunteer and board member for Echo Valley, and assisting Habitat for Humanity professionally on affordable housing projects. He is a Past President of Rotary and remains active in that organization with the Youth Exchange and various other community service projects. Tim began his service to the community as a member of the Park Board. He was later appointed to the Planning Commission where he served until being elected as a City Councilmember.
