Reservation Policy Changes  for 2024 Reservations

Starting April 6th, 2023, reservations for the 2024 season can be made online up to 270 days in advance of the arrival date using our new booking portal at https://www.campspot.com/book/chelancityparks. 

We have made this change because of the increasing number of requests for online reservations due to the long hold time often required to make reservations by phone for the Lakeshore RV Park. 

Memorial Day Weekend Reservations by Phone

Due to the complexity of our Memorial Day Weekend rules, please call during business hours to make Memorial Day Weekend reservations. 

Reservation Payment System Defaults to Balance Owed

Although we only require the first two nights stay and the $10 reservation fee as a deposit. The system always defaults to the balance owed. So you can either pay your balance in full or choose a different amount to only pay the deposit required. Most deposits for the summer of 2024 will be either $190 for an RV Site , $218 for a Prime Site, or $158 for a Tenting Only Site. 

Each Reservation Made Must Be Created in The Name of The Person Arriving in The Site That Is Reserved. 

Please do not book multiple sites for the same arrival and departure dates under one user account. We do not allow subletting a reservation to someone else. If you are making multiple reservations for yourself and other family members or friends, make sure each subsequent site is reserved using the actual name and contact information of the person checking in to the reserved site. We check ID during the check-in process and if the ID does not match the person a site is reserved for, they will not be allowed to check-in. Single families consisting of more than 8 people may need to call to avoid confusion as to who a site is reserved for. Sites may not be reserved for the purpose of additional parking. 

Group Reservations Policy Change

Group reservations will be handled differently for the 2024 season. Group reservations will be taken 9 months to date in advance for 5 or more campsites.  Each group will have one designated Wagon Master who will book sites for the entire group. A group name will be assigned, and the Wagon master will choose and pay for their site. Members of that group will have 72 hours to call and claim their sites. Any sites not claimed within 72 hours of booking will be released automatically and made available to all other campers.  

Cancellations And No Shows and Waitlists

Reservations made online can also be cancelled online or by phone with staff using your booking confirmation number. All reservations that are cancelled will incur a charge of a $25 cancellation fee in addition to the $10 non-refundable reservation fee. Reservations that are cancelled under a 21-day notice will lose the required deposit. Reservations that do not arrive after the first 2 days (No Show) will automatically be cancelled. As soon as a reservation is cancelled, it will be available for the next customer to book online or by phone and may be more expensive based on campground availability due to potential dynamic pricing algorithms based on the campground’s percentage of occupancy. For this reason, we can no longer manage a waitlist.  

Early Departure Fees 

There is no refund for departing early after check-in unless due to County or State evacuation Order.  

When Dogs Are Not Allowed, Please Don’t Bring Them 

Currently, dogs are not allowed July through Labor Day nor Friday through Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend in May. Dogs are allowed between the 2nd week of September through June (excluding Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend in May). Our online portal at https://www.campspot.com/book/chelancityparks  will not allow you to book any site online if you confirm you are bringing your pet. It is recommended that you call to make your reservation by phone if you plan on bringing your pet. 

Dogs are not allowed in Don Morse Park or on the beach from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend (Dogs are not allowed in the day-use park or beach between the last weekend in May through the first weekend in September.)

We Will Continue Reservations by Phone

We will continue to take group reservations of 5 or more campsites 9 months to-date in advance for July and August and individual reservations for any time of year up to 270 days in advance by phone Monday through Friday.
