Lake Chelan Airport

The Lake Chelan Airport (FAA LID: S10), is a general aviation public-use airport located three nautical miles (6 km) northeast of Chelan. The airport is owned by the City of Chelan and the Chelan Douglas County Regional Port Authority.

Lake Chelan Airport covers an area of 78 acres (32 ha) at an elevation of 1,263 feet (385 meters) above mean sea level. It has one runway designated 02/20 with an asphalt surface measuring 3,503 by 60 feet (1,068 by 18 meters). A PAPI visual guidance system is available on Runway 20. Runway surface asphalt is in good condition and has runway edge lights at medium intensity

Lake Chelan Airport offers self-service Jet A Fuel and Aviation Fuel 24 hours a day at very competitive prices. There is also a pilot's lounge with a kitchen, shower and Wi-Fi. Pilots should be aware there is considerable parachute landing activity in the spring, summer, and early fall at the Lake Chelan Airport.

Courtesy Car

There is a courtesy car available on a first come first serve basis with a four hour maximum use.  There is a lock box inside the front door of the Pilot’s Lounge with detailed instructions on how to check out the car and obtain the keys.

There are no rental car facilities in Chelan.  The nearest car rental facilities are located in Wenatchee which is approximately 35 miles from the Lake Chelan Airport.
