The City of Chelan Public Works Department is responsible for planning, constructing, and maintaining the essential infrastructure that supports daily life in our community. This includes streets, water and sewer systems, and stormwater management. Through efficient service delivery and long-term planning, Public Works helps ensure public safety, environmental stewardship, and the reliable operation of the city’s core systems.

Transportation Benefit District
in November 2024 City of Chelan voters approved a tax increase from 8.4% to 8.7% to fund the newly formed Transportation Benefit District.
